XNetMap End User License Agreement
Version 1.0 — Suggested direct-sale EULA
This template is provided for product-launch preparation and is not legal advice.
1. License
Subject to payment and these terms, the purchaser receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use XNetMap on Macs owned or controlled by the purchaser, unless the product listing states a different device or team license.
2. Ownership
XNetMap is licensed, not sold. All intellectual-property rights not expressly granted remain with the publisher and applicable third-party licensors.
3. Restrictions
The user may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, rent, or commercially provide copies of XNetMap except with written permission. The user may not remove ownership notices or use the software to violate applicable law.
Nothing in this agreement is intended to prohibit rights that applicable law expressly grants, including lawful interoperability or reverse-engineering rights that cannot be waived.
4. Network and security information
XNetMap reports observations and heuristic security/privacy assessments. Results can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. XNetMap is not a substitute for professional security testing, incident response, or legal/compliance advice.
5. User responsibility
The user is responsible for using XNetMap only on computers and networks they own or are authorized to inspect, and for complying with workplace, privacy, network-monitoring, and computer-access laws.
6. Third-party services
Map, font, content-delivery, payment, and data-enrichment services may be supplied by third parties and are subject to their availability and terms.
7. Updates
Updates may change features, requirements, compatibility, service providers, and these terms. Unless a sales listing promises a specific update entitlement, purchase of one version does not guarantee perpetual access to every future major version.
8. Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, XNETMAP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT EVERY SECURITY OR PRIVACY ISSUE WILL BE DETECTED.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE PUBLISHER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR LOST-PROFIT DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF XNETMAP.
10. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by the refund policy shown at the point of purchase and mandatory consumer-protection law.
11. Governing law
Insert the publisher's final governing-law and venue terms after business/legal review.
12. Contact
Insert the publisher's legal/business support contact before launch.
