Requirements

macOS 12 or later, Apple Silicon.

Startup problems

XNetMap writes startup diagnostics to:

~/xnetmap-crash.log

Gatekeeper

Use the official signed/notarized installer. If macOS reports that the app is damaged or modified, download a fresh copy rather than bypassing Gatekeeper.

Deep Scan

Deep Scan may require administrator authorization because macOS protects lower-level packet metadata. XNetMap does not decrypt HTTPS content.
